We are open six days a week, including some evenings for those who are not make it during working hours. Click here for surgery hours.
If you have an urgent problem, we will do our best to fit you in for an appointment on the same day.
We are available to take on new patients, although this may not be on the same day that you ring as we limit the number of new patients each day so that we can continue to care for those who have been attending the practice for some time.
We do hold a number of appointments that can only be booked on the day. These will not show up on Online Booking until the actual day.
We are happy to visit you at home if you are too sick to come to the surgery, and you live within the Northam town boundaries.
Please phone the surgery and follow the prompts for after hours visits for emergency treatment that cannot wait until the following day.
For serious emergencies please go direct to the Northam Hospital or dial 000.
In order to avoid interruptions during consultations, it is practice policy that a message be left with the receptionist.
We prefer you do not message us via email unless by specific arrangement with the GP.
Please ring after 3 pm for all test results, and these can only be given to the patient or guardian unless prior arrangements have been made.
The doctor may request a follow up appointment which can be made at the time of receiving the results.
Initial consultations will require payment on the day. Once the claim has been accepted, then accounts will be forwarded to the relevant insurance company.
Grey Street Surgery is a private medical practice.
